First Cap Job, What is the Problem?

I did my first cap job yesterday on a Peavey JSX to get rid of a buzzing noise. This was built in 2006 so 8 years old. Probably a bit early for caps to leak, but did not know what else it could be.

Replaced all the filter caps and some others with parts from Peavey. Replaced 11 caps in total. ($65) Also replaced tubes. Has been biased properly.

Didnt see any damage/leaking on caps I took out, and after job, amp makes the same noise.

This is not my video, but the noise is similar to this. It is coming from the power section exclusively. Noise goes up as master volume is increased.

The amp is still playable and can get really loud while the buzzing is fairly low, but sucks for recording. I had a XXX with a quiet power section so I know this is not normal. Could it be the transformer?

Changed: C42,47,43,48,44,45,46,54,55,57,58 Will never buy another used amp from Guitar Center.

My noise is like this but without anything plugged in. Makes the clean channel useless.

Log onto the Peavey Forum.
Repeat your post here.
See if they have had any issues with 60-120 Hz noise.
There MAY be a known ground, heater trace, lead dress, ribbon cable, etc etc, type problem.
Good Luck
