Well, I decided to just go with the alnico 2n and a custom. I sorta wish I woulda at least practiced soldering first:smack: and i guessed where to put the hot wires.. also not to fun but... everything work out good. I love the sound of that alnico 2 in the neck.. its perfect for the gutar it's in. The custom also sounds good.. its just a little "quackie" or harsh/bright for my liking... i still like it in there though... now i've offically joined the seymour users club :smokin:... ps: advice for some one else who is going to do what i do.. practice with the soldering iron and get a schmatics to refrence it will help much!.. without either it took me 2 hours to change 2 pup :yell: wow though.... there were emg h3's in there before and the duncans are so much more responsive and stronger, i did a little tapping and it just jumped out of my fret board.. definatly a satisfide customer
