Didn't mean to hijack or anything. It's just my recent obsession.

I hear you there. It's always guitar talk anyway.

You can have a heavy tone with the right combination of woods and electronics. And of course after a good research on it.



So after the luthier's advice, I think I'm gonna go for a 5p korina/maple neck (3pc korina/2pcs maple). Better stability and clarity.

And maybe put a thin maple cap on the korina body wings for the finish.

Ordering. I wish I could build or at least to have the equipment to try it. But once it's about my #1 guitar I wanna have it built from an already experienced luthier. Then I can focus on amps....I already have some ideas.
