FLEABAY COUNTERFIET ALERT

Looks terrible and not worth $5. 100% positive feedback from this seller, too. Make ya wonder how much fake crap they've already sold to unknowing customers.

Easy to buy fake feedback. Between biased search algorithms and purchased feedback (in addition to the ubiquitous un-informed purchaser), I don't feel like I can trust many online sources anymore.

Counterfeit products are the new bane of the musical industry, and hurt both organizations whose products are counterfeited, and individuals who get burned by purchasing them.

Only by pointing them out and denying them access to markets can we defend ourselves...

I bought a fishman preamp for my acoustic that was a complete fake. Ebay refunded me, but then I had already cut the guitar for it, so I ponied up for the real thing. Much better.

NEW? Tell it to Floyd Rose and Gary Kahler who spent MILLIONS in overseas courts suing the pants off companies who ripped them off. It took years for both companies to become profitable, and the bastards are STILL doing it. What technology they can't buy - they steal, and they don't give a rip about hurting American companies or the people who own them.

And yet our own American manufacturing companies run to China to get their products built cheaper for them to make more profit .
It's sad but you can see that we do it to our self's and they know in the long run they will just steal all of our ideas and research for free and there's nothing we can do about it but that still does'nt stop them .
We better wake up before it's to late and become a third world country because we don't make anything here anymore .

That's certainly a good point. I guess I was referring to how easy it's become for any idiot to buy something on Ebay from China that's a direct counterfeit of a well-known product, then move it out into the world of 'normal' musicians and rip them off. It's no longer Floyd Rose and Gary Kahler fighting companies, it's every single thing we may buy on the consumer level.

Until everyone sees it for what it is (outright theft), we're fighting uphill against it; some folks will do anything to save a buck or two, and there will always be cheats amongst us.
