Floyd II question???

This guitar has a Floyd II. I need a bar for it. There is some kind of nut where the bar goes, but if I turn it, it doesn't screw off. What's upo with that? And where can i get a basic black bar???

It's probably some sort of ball detent. Does it move vertically at all? I would check Alparts.

Get the Schaller bar and replacement collar - or generic replacement ones

It should be just a standard screw in trem arm, iirc. I had one of these type of trem arms on a guitar. The nut doesn't tighten because it spins the arm.

When I got my Japanese Squier Strat with the Kahler 1 trem on it, it didn't come with an arm.. Of course, I couldn't find one anyone, so Dave made me one..
