Gjys, i'm having a bit of a problem with a Floyd.
The neck angle is virtually non existent, so when the trem sits flush with the top, the action is way too high: almost 3 millimeters. Total waste of space, right?
There is no recess under the trem. so my idea was to make a neat little template and recess the entire unit, bushing included. That way the trem can still be decked (set up flush with the flat parts of the recess) but is simply set up lower in the body, allowing for more freedom when adjusting the action. Add a little block between the trem block and the back of the trem cavity so it really do only DOWN and not up, and the guitar SHOULD work just fine.
