These were bought by me in November 2020 for a DIY HH Strat-type project, but I found that the Triple Shot ring for the bridge pickup interfered with the volume knob, so I'm selling them on.
The individual DC resistance readings (DCRs) for each pickup, by my digital multimeter, are as follows:
Neck Pickup:
Black to white (P90 coil) - 7.08 kOhm
Red to green (rail coil) - 5.65 kOhm
Bridge Pickup:
Black to white (P90 coil) - 10.08 kOhm
Red to green (rail coil) - 8.25 kOhm
Black to white to red to green (both coils in series) - 18.33 kOhm
The original pickup wires have been cut to make fitting them to the Triple Shot rings easier, and to avoid having bundled up wires sitting underneath them. The original Triple Shot Ring wires have been replaced with new, unused, 18-inch long pickup wires. These have four cores plus a bare wire. The hot, ground and shield wires have been soldered to the printed circuit board and have been tested. The two spare wires have been folded back and secured with heat shrink at both ends.
These are ready to be fitted and soldered directly in.
Included in the deal are the pickup to Triple Shot mounting screws and springs, 8 screws for securing the Triple Shot Rings to a guitar body and two brand new double sided sticky pads, which will need to be trimmed to fit. A copy of the fitting instructions will also be included. Original packaging is not included.
The brand-new price for these pickups and the Triple Shot Rings as a set from Seymour Duncan is $259. If you buy them from a retailer you may have to pay sales tax and / or shipping on top of that.
