Most of the people that didn't like them had never tried them and gave their opinions.
If you're looking to change the look of your fretboard cheaply and want ones that seem to last and not pull off easily, get them from Jockomo on eBay.

it's a pretty good visual solution to a very difficult problem if you're wanting a complicated one-off design and you don't have the money for someone to do it. I think I voted -pro.

To me its the equivalent to putting fake mag hubcaps on a car. Or even worse a fake bonnet scoop

I guess it is a bit of fun and it shouldn't be take too seriously. I think obviously it will be more suited to some guitar over others.

I think some people here are taking inlay stickers WAY too seriously the way they bash them. I dont have a problem with them, myself. I dont actually use them because I prefer dot markers, but if I had a markerless fret board I'd definitely put some on. All they are is an inexpensive, completely reversable mod to - as someone else said - solve a very complex problem for some players.

inlay decals are actually quite nice, a friend of mine has star block inlay decals on his taylors and gibsons, they feel very natural and looked legit too

This. It is totally reversable. I too prefer Dot inlays over anything else. I dont like over dressed Fret board Inlays. But I think these are fine as long as they dont interfer with playing the instrument. I have been considering these Jockomo Birds Fret Markers since a whle.

I think it's a cool idea if it's good quality. I myself prefer real inlays, but this is a good alternative if you feel it's something you really want.
As another member mentioned, as long as it doesn't interfere with your playing and the quality is there, I'm all for it. To each their own as I always say.

MY opinion is that YOUR opinion is the only one that matters.
There is a time and place for everything. If you are looking for a certain "aesthetic" go for it. See the Living Dead's pic for a great example.
But don't fool yourself that it's going to be the same as a real inlay except cheaper. Quite honestly, I have seen some crappy inlay work too...

First, scary as it may seem.... I agree with Aceman.. (JK Aceman!!) But yeah, your opinion is the only one that matters. Second, Id say as long as they dont interfere with playing and all... Id just worry that they would peel off doing bends and such. but if they hold up pretty well

When it comes to stickers, i prefer to gaffer tape hampsters to my thighs and run naked thru laundromats. Its all about personal preference.
