You don't have that with VHolic. He's doing a hard pan on VH recording of all kinds of stuff, and since Ted Templeman was at the board...

I almost said something about it, but yeah, I noticed too.
Me too.
It is easier to sound right on the note when you have a backing track that glosses over your mistakes. Playing an acappela piece without the backing track is a bit more of a trick.

Yeah, I got a hold of the Guitar Hero rips of VH tunes without the guitar tracks and have been experimenting with trying to emulate Eddie's tone and playing for grins and giggles. I put out a preliminary effort by recording a pretty good version of "On Fire" and putting it on youtube. The guitar track was all me and it sounded pretty balls (as well as being shot in full HD)...

Well after 10,000 or so hits, Warner Brothers decided that it was time to shut it down and now the video has been removed.

It was doing fine for several months before I added my Youtube videos to my signature here... two days later and it was removed. Or was it flagged by someone here either on the forum or lurking? I'll never know.

There are a million videos of "On Fire" on youtube, mine was singled out because it was higher quality than most?

I tried to do it right and was shut down.:banghead:
