Well just got back for the doctors, and news was not good. I have nerve damage in my right thumb, it has been put back on twice. When I play my thumb goes numb and I can't hold the pick. My playing will be halting.
These need to find a new that will use them.

Sure, the first time was me against the table saw. The table saw won, cut the tendon and nicked the bone. This required the bone to be patched and tendon reconnected, and a lot of stitches. Six months later it felt pretty good. About year later I was washing the dishes and oh ****. My wife had a knife in the sink, and as my luck would have it, blade up. It sliced down to bone and nicked the tendon again. More stitches and time to rehab, the doctor told me after the first time that I would have problems someday, and someday is here. I can still play but only for a short time, about 20 mins, then things go numb. So I am going to keep one guitar.
