FS/FT:Fender Classic Series (mim) 60's Strat.

So I really don't wanna sell this, but I sorta need money to buy a 212 cab, or a cheap half stack. So here it is...Its in pretty close to new condition, I couldn't find a single scratch or nick on it, and I inspected it pretty closely. So yeah. Its got a set of SCN's installed, which IMO sound great...but I know some people don't dig em. Anyways, I'll include a fender gig-bag with it. Asking $470 + shipping. Or I'd accept an Avatar (or any) 212 w/V30's + some cash. Or if you've got an old Fender Concert II I'd gladdly accept that as trade. I'd even accept a Peavey Valve King head & 212 cab, Windsor head and cab (+ a little cash on your end), or various other Heads and/or cabs. Offer me whatever ya got (with in reason). I'm desperate, so nows your chance to totally screw me! haha

Any questions of any sort, feel free to PM me.

now for the pics...

Re: FS/FT:Fender Classic Series (mim) 60's Strat.

I offer a 2001 Fender Ultimate Chorus +DSP for a bolstered trade --- it's a 2x12, open back combo. It's a solid state amplifier that has two separate 65 watt power amps, one for each speaker. It's marketed as a 130W amp, but I know that it's really two 65 watt amps, side by side, in the same cabinet, with a common preamp.

I got a while, so I'll go ahead and tell you all I know about it.

Two inputs (equal), stereo effects loop, mono effects loop, 3 button footswitch (channel toggle, reverb/delay toggle, chorus/modulation toggle) --- it's got onboard digital reverb (plate, room, hall), delay, with some long delay times, delay + reverb together, also chorus 1 (classic style, stereo, the stereo sounds awesome), chorus 2 (modern style, stereo sounds awesome), phaser --- the chorus is really the high point that people advertise, but my high point is the delay, it's better than any delay pedal I've owned or heard, and my buddy had that BOSS DD-20 Delay pedal. It sounds really authentic and non-cheesy, and it keeps the full, bassy, articulate sound of the amp.

I am using this amp as a cab for my Blackheart Little Giant right now, and I like the sound. I actually don't know what I'll do for a cab if we trade, but I like the sound, because it's full, grabs low bass like none other, and it is remarkably articulate. I like it better than any of the cabs I tried this weekend, including a Marshall 1x12, a Dr. Z 1x12, a Groove Tubes 4x10, and a Mesa 1x12. I don't usually go for open back, but this one just has definition and fullness I can't say no to.

The reason I am thinking of moving it is that I've had it since new in 2001, and I'm trying to have a phase where I buy and sell and trade all kinds of amps to broaden my horizons. I am also really interested in a rosewood board Stratocaster, especially a 60's style Strat.

Let me know if you're up for it.
