FS: *RARE* Ibanez RG 540 Power Triple Coil

Sweet rare Ibanez RG 540 Power guitar like the one on Joe Satriani's album "Not of This Earth". It is in that awesome (Probably my favorite color of all time) 5-Alarm Red (think orange). What makes this evem more rare than it being a typical RG540 P in the 5-Alarm Red color, is that it is the triple coil pickup in the bridge.

Here are the specs:

22 fret Rosewood neck, Ibanez Edge (original Edge not the Edge II, Edge III, Edge Pro, Edge I Pro Edge Lo Pro, Edge Pro 15 (joking) or other crap) in that cool Cosmo black (smoked chrome color). 2 control pots (volume / tone), 2 toggle switches for pickup coil switching. Locking nut is the through the neck type with 2 hex bolts. 2 stress cracks which I have on my RG550 and other older Ibanez's I've owned so it's normal for these Ibanezes this age. $650

Tell me about it! Sounds good too. It should though considering it is an Ibanez/Dimarzio pickup.

WFD HATES Ibanez. I've had this discussion with him before, but it was over a RG 540 PII that was for sale in Brazil in his neck of the woods, like 4 hours away. He didn't fcare for it, or other Ibanezes for that matter IIRC.

IDSnowdog, the switches pretty much turn off coils IIRC, I haven't played it in a while. The top one turnes the third coil on or off, the bottom switch is a 3 way switch off/1 coil or humbucker. I will have to check to be absolutely correct as I don't want to feed wrong info. I do know there is a setting where it effectively works as a kill switch, which is cool.
