Right now I'm too affraid to do any damage to either pickups to be honest. This whole heating up the wax scares me, I don't know if I'll loose any and cause the pickup to squeal

The SH-6N, thats one of Duncans best kept secrets IMO!

BTW, I am pretty sure Peirre is going to try the ceramic mag in the Bridge version of the FS.

I like the SH-6 in the neck, but it depends on what it's paired with

Well the Custom does lack a bit of brightness for my Basswood guitar. That means I'll most likely try it. Give me a couple of days.

That looks pretty cool,Flesh. What do you use you're AnaMan DS-1 Pro for? I have one and I also have a GT Soul-O-75 amp that gets about as dirty as a JCM 900. I'd like to set my amp at an ACDCish type gain and use the DS-1 to kick it in to Rhoads/Ride the lightning'ish overdrive settings. Do you have any recommended settings?

I use the DS-1 Pro to clear up any mud i get from high output pups,
and get a true distortion boost... not overdrive.
Kind of what you described.

I set mine at Tone 3 oclock Level and Dist to 12 oclock
