Fulltone Pedals and Mike Fuller's Collection!

Re: Fulltone Pedals and Mike Fuller's Collection!

The OCD is great. To me, its got a Vox vibe to it. I get really close Brian May tone with the tone all the way up (which acts as a treble booster, it raises the upper mid and high frequencies and distorts them) and I got the volume at 9 oclock (that thing has so much gain, you cant put it above there) and the drive at 1 oclock. I got the switch at the HP setting which adds a fat lower end and has slightly more gain. The guitar Im using to get this Brian May sound: A R7 LP Goldtop. The amp: A Gibson GA5 w/ the volume at 1 oclock. Its all in the tone knob with that pedal. Its a perfect treble booster IMO because it is very transparent too because it wasnt meant to be a treble booster. But I use that thing all the time and really drives my tone. Good rhythm sounds with the tone put below 12 oclock and the volume slightly raised.

I really want to get a Fulltone Soul Bender for my lead sounds. I just heard that pedal on the internet and I was blown away. Thats what Im looking for now, a Slash-style smooth thick lead sound.

I also love the Fulltone wah, both of them. And the mini dejavibe is great too. Ahh!!! Gas attack!

Kind of off topic but I'm gearing up to sell a Fulltone Ultimate Octave pedal... PM me if you're interested.

I'm waiting for his new Super Lead pedal to be released! this seems to be the one that will surpass the OCD,......... well from the description it sounds like it will.

This is the first time I've heard of the Super Lead! I can't wait till that gets released! They're coming out with some great stuff. I wish Fulltone would release a phaser, and maybe a reverb/delay that's priced decently. The Tube Tape Echo is a bit extravagant for any pedalboard.

Seriously! I can't wait to try the Super Lead out... I wonder what it'll be like? Maybe a higher gain OCD with EQ? Who knows. I find it hard to imagine an overdrive pedal that suits my needs more perfectly than an OCD.

+1 on the phaser as well.
