You Suck! LOL, that's a sweet, beautiful looking amp, and it probably sound sweet - what is it?....Mesa is just not my bag, but sweet none the less.

Re: GAS Anyone?

I am interested in trying the new Stilletto line from Mesa. I'm never able to get Mesa stuff to sound how I want but I do like a lot of their amps, that Lone Star is a beauty. Anyone remember the old Legend amps? Kind of reminds me of them.

I guess I am also looking forward to getting my hands on a peavey JSX but apparently so is half the rest of the world.

Re: GAS Anyone?

brisk - i saw that amp and literally started to moan.....wow.......jaw dropper...........
my gas: i wanna get "something special" in my 2nd guitar. right now my mind is debating a custom built strat, white, maple neck, reverse headstock, antiquities - "jimicaster".....for us righty's....that or a hollowbody, an early 80's/ late 70's guild starfire, or something similar....

Re: GAS Anyone?

Laney AOR Head....someone buy my BV....

And maybe a tube screamer of sorts for more gain

Re: GAS Anyone?

I love the look of that amp. I've never tried mesa's before, but that one is sure nice looking. :)

Re: GAS Anyone?

It's a new amp from Mesa called "Lonestar". My local GC doesn't have one yet so I am yet to demo it. But I used to own F-50, which was fantastic (I don't understand why I sold it). Mesa amps are known to have buzzy overdrive sound but this "lonestar" appears to have more of Marshall like tone due to EL34 tubes. I definately want to try it someday soon.
