Guitar GAS 2025?

Meh...nothing I care enough to care about.

Are there things I'd grab if I won the lottery? Sure...Gibson Burgundy Custom, Gibson Voodoo Les Paul, Ironbird with Khaler, Chibson Blue Sparkle Frehley, Ultraviolet Warlock with all the knobs, Green Gunslinger, Jackson 1988 Special edition, Charvel Fusion in fire Crackle, Washburn 36fret Stephens extended cutaway, Shell Pink Tele...we could go on.

But they are not causing any bloating or pain associated with GAS.

Meh - seriously.

The first week of 2025 isn't even over, so much for not needing another guitar.

Is anybody familiar with the Kramer Pacer Classic? Is this something I might want? Is it similar to something I might already have?

Give me a reason to not/buy this guitar!

Is this a "money is no object, anything goes, dream list" GAS thread? Or a "you've got some money burnin' a hole in your pocket and you are about to explode, but only on one guitar" GAS thread?

Hard to tell. The guitar I bought today is through Paypal Pay-in-4, and I had to borrow the money for the first payment since I don't get paid until Thursday night.

So it's more of an "anything goes" thread now.

Do both. My initial thought was something you might actually buy. But nothing wrong with "if I won the lottery." For example, I'd love one of those Duesenberg's that Sweetwater is giving away in a sweepstakes.

I was also considering getting some sort of Les Paul this year, like a Studio Modern. I dig all the modern features, and hey, it comes in blue! I have to say, Gibson's photography department totally sucks. I can't believe the crappy pictures they allow on their website.

I really think you would like the Custom Lite. I paid around the same price.

Find it at Sweetwater. They're photography skills are SO much better.

Then you might be glad you waited so long before getting another. A friend recently bought a Junior and his only issue with the guitar has been the one he caused himself.

Well, I bought it a few years ago...I would not have had the money back in 1980 (and I was 10).
