Gearjoneser's hybrid set is Chubtone's best seller!

Over half a year ago, I had a boutique pickup maker, Mike Gray of Chubtone Custom Pickups, make me a strat set to my specs, which would be the best SRV/KWS/Mayer type neck and middle pickups...6.2 A5's, and a 7.5 hot vintage bridge, that's designed to be similar to a Twangbanger, but it's A5.

I just saw one of his Ebay auctions, and see that he thanked me for the idea for his hottest selling strat set. My best sounding strat (sunburst alder/rosewood) has never sounded better, than with the El Gordo/63 neck/middle set.

just kidding man, you're one person whose opinion i value for sure when it comes to good gear and good tone! that's pretty cool that he gave you the thanks for the idea!
