I know Eric Johnson uses George L. Cables so I think I'm going to call them back today and go ahead and place an opening order. Just thought I'd let'cha all know because it'll be a couple of weeks before I can put the George L. cables on my website. Thanks, Lew

so my theory is you make yourself think theres a big difference to justify all the money spent
They're stiff, particularly for the thickness of the cable, and probably prone to kinking.sooperunkn said:Other than the fear of the connector separating from the cable... why do some of you consider it a bad idea to use George Ls for anything other than pedalboard use???

I'm about to place an order for some. I use a monster from my guitar to the board, but I was planning on using George Ls for everything else:
pedal to pedal
FX loop send & return (8' to 10' each)
pedalboard to amp (8' to 10')
For the above applications there will be little if any "movement" of those cables, so again other than the possibile loss of connection is there any other reason not to use George Ls? Also red or black... what's the difference other than gauge?
