George Lynch Lil' Screamin Demon Bridge Older Version!

Hi there,

I am searching the pickup called Seymour Duncan SLSD-1 George Lynch Lil' Screamin Demon Bridge *Older Version*!!
And I have already tried to search the older version of this pickup following eBay,Amazon and some of musical instrumental shops in the UK. Both of them put the older ver. pictures but what they had in stock were the newer version of this pickup.

The older version(Bridge)has 4 holes for the screws on both sides. And the newer version has only 1 hole on both sides.

I guess it was sold between 2000-2005.

If anyone knows about how to get this pickup,could you PLEASE let me know!

Welcome to the forum.

The "older" version is referred to that way precisely because it is no longer in production with the plastic top plate, tape wrapped coils and eight holed baseplate. Your only options are New, Old Stock or pre-owned.

There isn't any difference between the new and old tonally. Why not just buy a new one?

Personally, I would opt for the new, enclosed model just to get the improved coil protection.

Indeed. I killed a lil 59 because the high E got caught under plate and severed some coil wire.

I have an old style one. Been thinking of selling it and getting the newer style so it at least somewhat matches the Classic Stack Pluses that it's in the guitar with.

It's installed in a guitar right now so no way to get a pic of the whole thing without pulling the guard. It's not officially for sale and I honestly don't know when I'll have time to pull it from the guitar. Have only been thinking about it.
