Yes they have.

If the Epi f/b was rosewood,I'd be staring a lot harder, tho!
;)

Gibby's lovely too,of course!

I've been noticing a trend.

Gibson/epi release a signature model, and everyone drools. rightly so. Well appointed, nice finishes, killer vibes.

And whenever they release a "new innovation" by trying to "make better" what is already just fine, they screw it up totally and what results is a horrific looking collision of wood and metal.

^ they just assume that only sane people will be buying their guitars

DISAGREE. The Ace Frehley Epi Budokan managed to make Super D's sound dull... I dunno how, but they pulled it off. Sounds like a pretty innovative feat to me :)

Wouldn't ever buy a non-Japan epi except maybe an SG Junior on a blowout sale for <$100 for a pickup testing platform.... certainly wouldn't buy an Epi Sig.

OR a Gibson signature for that matter, but that's just because paying twice for names is two times too much. Gibson already charges like it were a signature guitar (then again, the Lester and SG kinda are), and then a second time for another artist's sig? No thx.
