I'd get a Gretsch Electromatic before I got that.

Probably not.
175, 335, or 345 if you want to scratch that itch.
Or forget about the center block and get a 330 or a Casino.

I passed.

I have a 330 that I use for jazz with flatwounds.

Now I’m after a semi

I think I’m just going to focus on 335, Heritage 535 and Yamaha SA2200. I have no rush so I’m hoping to get a decent deal.

Tried one when it first came out, and it left a lasting impression on me, "When I grow up, I'll be a ...... " and squeaks out to nothing.
