Big caveat: I have never gotten around to try it. The consensus, however, seems to be that it was as good as the original ones. I'm pretty sure they go for more money now than they did when new.

I have no idea why Kramer never reissued the Nightswan. There are so many people looking for one of those, and prototypes were made, but as so often with Gibson-era Kramers, nothing happened in the end.
