Hopefully they get bought up by someone who knows what they are doing. Does that seem to be a possibility at this point?

How will this affect prices? Mainly for lower end models (Tribute series, Studios, etc)

Too soon to tell. Now would be a good time to Reverb that Gibson you haven't quite pulled the trigger on yet though. Used prices are heavily in favor of buyers right now.

Some folks are late to the party, some of them aren't paying attention, and some of them think it's their duty to educate us on the news of the day.

Gibson will still be around when we are all old geezers. Stop believing all the hysterical bull****, and stop reposting it.

They'll survive bankruptcy. They'll sell off some peripheral brands and probably reduce the R&D budget for Gibson/Epiphone.

Less robotuners and more endorsements. They need to find the next Slash to help carry the brand.

H.J. may not survive bankruptcy though, which is probably a good thing.

Getting rid of the electronics acquisitions needs to happen. Gibson and most guitar players are all about tradition. The electronics world is all about innovation and the dude stepped in way over his head.

I live in Nashville and Gibson has a reputation as being a chitty place to work. I’m a native to Nashville and Gibson’s company culture has really tanked.
