And yet, they wouldn't make Jim Root a signature Les Paul because they didn't want to be associated with a band like Slipknot.

fender doesn't do this and is confident enough in their product to have a massive slew of licensed manufacturers of quality Fender style products and parts.

What if Fender sent a letter like this to B Hefner, USACG, Musikraft or any one else?

Gibson is turning out to be the bad guy of guitars... and they put on the black hat completely out of their own volition.

Total dick move.

IIRC Jim Root uses/d Gibson Flying V on stage, never see him with Les Paul. Besides, Fender already got him.

Sarge is one of my favorite LP copy guitars I own. SD 59s loaded in it and just perfect with the Korina neck and body. Some of the best money I have EVER spent on a guitar.

This headstock I could see bothering them.
