Gibson Les Paul not cutting it...

Re: Gibson Les Paul not cutting it...

Another vote to sell the Paul and buy a Carvin. Just buy one that is recent and doesn't have the tone sucking graphite rods in the neck!! I have owned bunches of Carvins and always loved the way that the 95-07 or so guitars played but there was some thing "dead" about the tone. Also the 88-95 Carvins I have owned without the rods had more stable necks so I adjusted them LESS. Doesn't make sense but is TRUE!
And I KNOW Carvins!!

Never regret selling a guitar you don't play but simply wish to "keep around".

Especially if it's gonna fund buying one that you WILL play.

Then again, I'm biased, I don't like Gibson and I DO like Carvins...

BTW, I can see one of these 24 fretted CTs in my future...

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Gibson Goldtop with P-90's. The only Gibson LP worth owning.
