It just makes me sick that we NEVER get any deals like that here in the UK! If we did I'd have both a Les Paul Studio in Gold and an SG in burst or black.

Those are some sick deals- I'd jump on them immediately if they had P90s or full size Hums

I do like them, but f*** that baked maple carry on. And the headstock always snaps off them. Always.

Can't you just swap P90s in for mini-hums?

I tried an SG 70s Tribute last week and I thought it was awesome. Very even-sounding and musical. And I love the SG necks.

Unless those deals are going to happen in Canada as well, it's actually worthwhile buying one and having it shipped to a border town to go pick it up - even paying NY sales tax AND our 13% taxes, plus gas to drive 45 minutes each way. Insane.

ya if that was my music genre style, I would buy that black midtown custom and have a heart attack over how awesome it looks and that I paid only $1000! I am having a bad gas week, just bought some bass cabs FOR THE RIG OF DOOM - Ill post pics when I get em' :eyecrazy:

I'd like one of the Boid-ies!
I'd also dump my Agile for a Studio. AGiles weigh a Ton, literally , and the fretwork out of the box is atrocious. The clean tone is marginal..anyone who says different I pity the fool. The overdrive tone can be really good.Can you believ how much an Agile is worth now ? Next to nothing with this.
Not to be an ass, but, I mean, I do care about the Torrified wood and stuff,it IS an issue on a high grade guitar, at least for me, and the value will enevr be the same as Ebony or Rosewood guitars and I know its greade C wood and all that, but 999.00, on a mid-level guitar for a Mid town to use as a Player , not worry about if it gets a few scrapes,scratches and Dings, is..well..juts wish I could pony up the bucks.
