I like the YouTube cartoon, B2D. The only thing missing is the hate-filled 13-year-old boy speculating on another user's sexuality and suggesting that he kill himself. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen that, I'd be able to hire vigilantes to track down said hate-filled 13-year-olds and smack them around.
The other peeve about YouLube, of course, is the never-ending supply of useless "reviews" of guitar equipment. Here, watch my head-to-head review of the JB vs. the Duncan Distortion! I've got a Epiphone Les Paul --> Line 6 UberMetal --> Line 6 Spider III combo with "Insane" selected on both of them! It's awesome! Listen carefully as I botch the intro to "Killing in the Name" about twenty times in a row! Hear the difference on the video that I took with my web cam? It's awesome! The JB is so weak! The Distortion rules! It's awesome! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, yeah, back on topic: I think the guitar is ugly as hell. I really, really love a good Gibson, but I think I have a good sense of when to call them out. Laminated wood, and some ill-advised zebra finish. Sorry, Gibson, but it looks better on those goofy horses running around in Africa. For an SG, you can't go wrong with brown, cherry, or black.

Gibson still makes their traditional ****. No reason to hate the new stuff.

When I was that kid's age, like him I was rockin' an expensive (for that time and certainly for a 16 year old kid) guitar, and like his Zoot Suit, a lot of guitarists point to my '79 Fender silver Anniversary Strat and say it's a joke.
Yes, I remember evenings over at a friend's house when I got my first electric. We thought we were gonna be rock stars. We got together often to just jam and to try to write songs. Unfortunately at the time I knew little about doing either, but eventually I learned.
