Godin Redline HB electric guitars

Someone. Anyone. What country are these manufactured in? Are higher end Godins manufactured there as well or does it depend on the model? I know John McLaughlin currently plays one. If you play or have played one, your thoughts?

I think its either Canada assembled or murrika assembled with Canada parts. I love my Radiator and would totally go for any of Godin's lineup.

Musician's Friend (Godin would not reply to my email, at least to date) indicates that they are (all) made in Canada. Another tidbit: Godin does not sell their own guitars directly - only through dealers.

Godin DID reply. Seems Canadian bacon is the meat of the week. Not the same as meet of the weak...

I won an auction, on eBay, for a Godin Redline HB with gig bag for $299, less a few eBay Bucks, and this includes shipping. Not sure the seller knew or cared what he was doing because the Buy It Now price was $300. Afterwards, I watched a portion of a John McLaughlin clip where he is demonstrating technique with a Godin and he had yanked the Godin pickups and installed... Seymour Duncans.

That guitar was on my watch list ... can't believe you got it for $300. I would have jumped on that. Grats! ( I already have a Redline 1 & Redline 3 )
