Goes with my gear post, help me decide!

I have my cab which is this.....

Now I got the idea that I could paint some symbol or something on the grill. Something easy that I could tape up, spraypaint, then take the tape off and wala. What designs can you throw my way? Or sohuld I do nothing since I'm putting a light behind the emblem in the cab?

Blue Bullseye rings on each speaker (on the grill of course) ..same blue to match the amp light

tho that may be too ZAKK for some

This is the only idea I can come up with that I like, and the ZW idea is quite awful haha. I'm a huge disliker of ZW, such a alchoholic tard who can't write anything good like he did on No More Tears.

I tend to think both of the logos on the head and cab are pretty gawdy. They remind me of the pointy Peavey logos on the Classic series amps with the really nice Tweed that everyone seemed to remove within 5 minutes of getting the amp.

Not sure if my opinion counts for anything but I'd say just ditch them entirely and go incognito. H and K don't pay a dime to you to do their adertising. You don't owe them any real estate on your rig.

No one seems to have caught onto the idea of a really nice low-key low-profile amp setup.

A logo/design ain't gonna make you sound/play any better. Better to spend that time practicing/learning!

As a side note- if you ever want to sell or trade that cab (and some day, you surely will fall in love with another rig) with a logo painted on it, you will lose money, as they won't give you full value for it- not everyone wants a cab painted like that.
Btw we are playing in your neck of the woods next weekend.

As a side note- if you ever want to sell or trade that cab (and some day, you surely will fall in love with another rig) with a logo painted on it, you will lose money, as they won't give you full value for it- not everyone wants a cab painted like that.

Haha, sell this cab?? I've had offers for this cab nearly 5X the amount I payed for it, they are THAT good. I'll never get rid of it, and it's sentimental to me. The head I might though, but only for something a lot better. So your playing in my neck of the woods? What's the name of the band and where are you playing?

Take the grill off, and paint the rims of the speakers blue, then put the grill back on. At least it's reversible, since you could always repaint then black, if you sell the cab.

In one of my bands, we went to Wal Mart and bought some blue fabric, made some stencils, and painted the band's logo on the cloth pieces. We then stapled these cloth covers onto the speaker grilles of our amps. It worked out pretty well, because when the band finished we just pulled the fabric off.
