Got my self a DOD YJM308.. Mini review inside.

Well,

After I have been accepted on my music school, I have decided to get my pedals on a pedalboard, and get a few extra pedals.

I then had a DOD Death Metal Distortion and a Marshall Jackhammer I didnt use, both modded by Rid, so I decided to trade them for a few pedals, and I called a musicstore and found out they had a new DOD YJM308 OD pedal.

The price, was my Custom Custom humbucker I didnt use, and the jackhammer. So I thought fair enough, and went for it.

From the looks it is a very steady pedal, good metal housing, should withstand Yngwie unleashing the fury on it .

I got home, plugged it in with the Strat. My first though was, what a bunch of mud. But then I turned the amp up from bedroom level, and hell yeah. I must say, with the Strat, DOD YJM, the ENGL at good volume through a marshall cab, it was just a awesome sound. It was dirty, aggressive and just rocked.

The Charvel was good with it aswell, although the single coils just worked a bit better.

Anyways, that is a really good pedal and I am happy with my deal.

The only worry I have, is did I pay too much for it? I can still reverse the deal.

Anyways just wanted to let people know of a great pedal thats overlooked alot

Ug. Undo the trade. It's not worth that kinda treasure. Sell the DOD pedal modded by RID if you must and buy three of the fookin fury pedals.

The DOD YJM308 pedal is not the real thing compared to a MIJ Grey 250,until you have Analogman,ie; Analog Mike do his Mojo 741 mod,with also true bypass fitted and cool indicator led,mine is Emerald green.
The pedal is so much quieter and smoother,you won't believe it,you don't even have to use the obligatory Boss NS-2 Noise Supressor,which is usually essential for those seeking to Unleash the Fookin' Fury!!:banana: :fingersx:

Okay, dammit.

Dunno, I just like the pedal alot...Argh dunno if I shall reverse the trade. The price is much steeper here in DK.. Over 100bucks.

well, if you're really diggin it then its just keep it. persoanlly i have no experience with this, but as what Yngwie308 said, its not the real deal.
so its really up to ur personal preference.

Dude, reverse the trade and at least get your money's worth from the other pedals.

Then go buy it if you really still want it. You got screwed.

Get a TS9 RI, sent it to STRUTDELUXER after you get it back plug you a super strat in it and you will be in sonic heaven.
