Gretsch Synchromatic

These use mini humbuckers, right? I am thinking (if it does) than Seymour's minis would all be too hot. I'd go for something custom, like an Antiquity humbucker built into a mini case.

Or see if Custom Shop can get a Psyclone into a mini cover. It could probably just be something like two Melody Makers wound with diff wire under a cover wired in parallel.

If he's talking about the G100CE that's a single coil which weighs in around 12K and you can find a lot of them used because they aren't well regarded. Kent Armstrong, Artec, DeArmond, Lawrence, Lollar, Fralin, Shadow, and Bartolini make floating neck mounted pickups. The best regarded are Kent Armstrong custom shop, Kent Armstrong Jazzy Joe, and Bartolini. The DeArmond Rhythm Chief is a classic but it's an old design which has noise and output issues.
