Guitar neck sock???

Has anyone else seen the guitar neck sock profiled in the new Guitar World mag? I can't believe any self-respecting guitarist would walk into a gig with his neck sock on. I've seen some gimmicky stuff before, but this takes the cake.

Sorry no link. I saw it in an ad in the new G.W. It's a "sock" which goes over your guitar neck to help "protect" the tone of the strings. LOL

Hmm............well, I have a bunch of old socks!! I'm gonna unload them on ebay as 'guitar socks'.
