Guitar under $500AUD

Hey guys,

I previously had a thread about a guitar under $400 AUD... My friend has now upped his budget to $500 AUD. This guitar will be for metal, it dosen't matter if it has a Floyd Rose. He was looking at the LTD MH-330FR in a blue colour. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Same posts apply again. You'll not get much more by going $100 further up, and the process of getting a good guitar and the brands available are all still the same.

If you'd said $1400 instead of $400 it would be different.

I'll say it again, find a new guitar @$1000 he's happy with and buy the same model for $500 second hand.

Tweak it and set it up to your liking as you would need to with any new or used guitar acquisition.

$500 is a lot of money to a lot of people, but unfortunately it's not a lot to spend on a guitar.
