H-S-H , does middle need to be rw/rp

I'm splitting bridge and neck humbuckers to use in parallel with the middle single coil pickup in the 2 and 4 positions. Does the middle coil need to be reverse wound/reverse polarity in this case? I've got this pickup in the middle and there is a lot of hum in the 2 and 4 positions. It's RW/RP. Here is how i've got it wired.

What am I doing wrong?

From my limited knowledge of the subject I would say that you either need a regular SC for the middle or leave the other coils of the Humbuckers active when split. I have a RW/RP sc in the middle and I'm leaving the outside coils active.
=> no hum in 2 and 4

I recommend doing a search for "hum-cancelling" or "H-S-H". There's numerous threads in here that will give more information than you need.

Based on that diagram, you need a standard-wound single coil in the middle to get hum-canceling with the split HB's.

With that switch, it is extremely easy to obtain the other coils on your humbuckers. Just route the coil junctions to hot for 2 and 4. However, if you don't want the tone of those other coils, because you prefer the coils you have active right now, then swap it for the standard-wound.
