H/S/S Metal Configuration

I thought I'd ask for advice on a good humbucker-single-single setup for Rock/Metal riffage and soloing.
I have a Samick Saraceno prototype that came armed with two JB Trembuckers which I adore and I have just started a project on a Samick Saraceno TV 20. This guitar came with duncan designed rails and a humbucker, which I have decided to replace with a new config. I was looking at a Screamin' Demon or a JB for the bridge and then 2 hotrails, but I'm not sure if the balance there will be ideal. I looked at a Ty Tabor Yamaha setup that consisted of Vintage rails and a JB but I wondered about the output.
As the JB's in the other Samick are high output I'd like something similar yet balanced and i'd rather have a fat tone at the neck as opposed to the strat sound.

The neck version of the HotRails will balance pretty nicely with any "hotter" 'bucker. Demon included.

You'd probably be happy with like a Full Shred/lil'59/Hotrails. That would be a pretty nice rig...

Not a big hotrails fan, they're very dark. Especially compared to a JB. To tell you the truth, the JB Jr's are awesome..... Janick from Maiden gets great tone from them. I'd go with a Super Distortion/bridge model JB Jr./neck model JB Jr. personally, but you can sub in the JB for the Super D.

Well.. if youve got one axe with a JB.. you might want something different. I really like the demon, im planning on getting one for myself soon. So.. my recommendation is, Screamin Demon in the bridge, vintage rails in the middle, and a hot rails in the neck, so youd get some cool 2nd and 4th position tones if you ever feel like getting a strat type sound.

Im gonna look into the Screamin demon and the Full shred at the bridge and its gotta be the Hotrails at the neck. Just gotta decide on that mid pup and the sounds I might need from it and I'm done.

By the way, what does Adrian Smith use?

I like the Custom 5/Cool Rails/Hot Rails If the middle or notch positions don't mean anything to you, just leave whatever middle pickup you have in there and save yourself $75. Just my 2 cents.

jb is decent for metal but my choice would be the custom. real brutal. match that with a cool rails neck and vintage rail middle and you will have hell of a versatile metal axe.

I have a JB in the bridge and a CoolRails in the neck of my Jackson DK2. Couldn't be more happier!!!!!

My H/S/S guitar is equipped with a Distortion/Cool Rails/Hot Rails. There is none more metal. And it's versatile enough to do a lot of other stuff, too.

Adrian plays PAF Pros in the bridge of his strats now. He never uses the middle/bridge pickup anymore. He used Super Distortions in the 80's.

Another thing to consider is that you can use a pull-up volume or tone to split a Hot Rails or Cool Rails. Split, they're better for rhythm. Full, they're better for soloing with a nice creamy humbucker tone.

JB/Hot Stack/lil59. I have that combo in a Strat and it's killer sounding.

Sorry if I'm a little dated, but I wanted to post this before I read the other posts, or else I'd probably forget what I wanted to say

I'd say either an SH-5 or SH-11 for the bridge, a Cool Rails for the mid, and a JB Jr. for the neck. The Cool Rails in the middle would provide a nice clean tone if you ever need it, plus I'm sure it would create a nice cool tone when played with the JB Jr.

But that's just my opinion.
