Hamer Standard Korea Version - pickup change

I have a Korean Hamer Korina Standard with mahogany body and would like to change the Duncan Designed Pickups. I would like a clean neck pickup and a bridge pickup with a thick but clear tone? I was thinking of a Pearly Gates in the Bridge and maybe one of the Custom versions in the Bridge?

I want to make sure I purchase the right combo and your help is appreciated.

Custom PG. Custom 59, Custom Jazz are all good combos IMe.

I actually loved the Duncan Designeds is my old Hamer standard xt, but every axe is different.

Also are you sure its mahogany? Many of the old import standards were alder bodies and maple necks.

I was mistaken, Alder body with Maple.
