Has anyone ever hear of a guitar by the name....

ZEP by ESP....I had a customer today that had a ZEP RSZ-110 hanging up.....How much would that guitar go for? Any idea?

Never heard of it and the headstock Looks out of place on that body...its too traditional looking for an exotic body shape lol

Thats what i was thinking.....However, it did have an Original Floyd Rose....Nice and light....Think it was Alder...

Not sure....The guy was an old fellow that had it given to him a few years ago....He told me to make an offer.....I didnt at that moment....He may let it go for $40 since he didnt know what he had.....

But if it has an original Floyd then that is worth something for sure. I always dug the Charvel/Wayne stars–the one you posted would look much better with a pointy headstock

You are right about that. It definately said Floyd Rose on the trem. Was kind of ugly, but original i guess. Same color as the body.

Lol. I cant find anything online about that guitar at all. Must be extremely rare or a Japan exclusive release maybe?

Not sure of the originals, but Akira's are now made under the Killer logo, though I do think ESP is the actual maker.

And Killer-branded Akira originals (the red with the metal plates and Dano head) are *always* back-ordered.

Your customer may have a winner.

If I'm reading the catalog scan right, the original price was 11,000 Yen, roughly comparable to $1100 USD. Take off the neck and see what's under the heel.

Wow! That was a long while back....Nice vintage pic though...You are correct about that headstock. Forgot he had one that looked like that..

You may be right about that man. It was a bolt on neck, had a metal bolt plate as well. Rosewood board may throw it off as counterfeit as well

May be the only thing worth doing with it lol...Dont think im gonna worry about it.....it just caught my eye as an exotic guitar that I dont see everyday around the south part of Mississippi....
