In all honestly, due to the low cost, if you haven't tried an SD-1 pick one up used. Not only is it a good OD, but you will see LOTS of comparisons from other pedals to it, so it will help you get a good baseline. Same with a TS type pedal.
Are you using it with your H&K ? What are you going for tone wise?
