Help needed for HSS with series/parallel humbucker option

Hey y'all. Need a little help here. Projecting my old guitar and put some new SD pickups in it. The configuration is HSS, 5-way switch, 2 tone and one volume knobs (one tone knob is a push-pull for the bridge pickup, with the down position intended for humbucking and pulled position intended for the coils to be in parallel). I have attached the wiring diagram I found.

Everything works, EXCEPT the bridge pickup when the push-pull is in the down position (but it works when pulled up). What could be the problem? FYI I don't have a multimeter or anything, just tested them by plugging into an amp and tapping the poles while going through all the switch positions. Thanks for your help ahead of time, I'm pretty new to this stuff.

Re: Help needed for HSS with series/parallel humbucker option

The attachment link is broken, not sure what's up there, but assuming the wiring diagram is correct and you followed it correctly, my top suspicion is a cold solder joint or similar discontinuity of your wiring for the series-parallel switch. Take a multimeter and test the resistance at the pickup ground wire and the hot wire (ideally cutting everything else but the pickup and switch out of the circuit). In series, you should get the full DC resistance rated for the bridge pickup. In parallel mode, about half that. If the meter reads zero, you have a short circuit, probably means you crossed a couple wires soldering it together. If you get a discontinuity, you have a broken wire or cold solder joint through one or more of the switch terminals, that isn't in the circuit in series.

Great, thanks! I'll look into these possibilities. FYI I fixed the diagram attachment in my original post if you wanna take a peak at it now. Here it is too:

The series/parallel push/pull in the diagram should work fine (no errors in the diagram). If you still can't get it to work after trying Liko's suggestions try posting a couple clear pics of your wiring, particularly the push/pull.
