Part of it is the g12t75 speakers, part of it is the construction. For some reason, they just sound ****ing amazing.

In general, i think you might have some problem getting USA companies to ship amps worldwide. I'd say get a forum buddy/contact/smaller vendor to source the amp for you, pack it in a nice ATA case, and freight it to Brazil, using an import/export company. Distribution, country-licencing and such is such a minefield of hassle. Some online US shops simply wont send anything out the country. So then the other option is to find out who has the Brazilian agency for say Mesa/Boogie, and try go that route...? At least warranty, power voltage will be correct.

Thirdly, tube is great, but for extremes of gain, perhaps Solid State? For that TIGHTNESS OF BASS that you crave...

ok im gonna say something that people might not like but,

i thought that for super high gain all out death metal , i never understood why people wanted a tube amp.
i mean when you get all that distortion going i think it gets so compressed that it sounds like SS anyway.

any thoughts?

i think that SS can do that 'industrial sound' real well.
tube amps to me sound great with a fair amount of distortion, but not overly compressed.

i mean when i was growing up Metal was gary moore and Ozzy and Judas priest. stuff like that. but their sounds are like Blues compared to Metal nowadays!
maybe he would be better off getting a good SS amp.

just a thought.

If you insist on having tubes, Krank makes a really stiff-sounding high-gain amp, I can't remember its name though.

ARE THESE 1960´S MARSHALL CABINETS the same ones from that TESt ANDY SNEAP DID AND I DOWNLOAD ALL the waves?

Regarding cabs, I'd typically go with the cabs that the manufacturer recommends with them:

A Dual Rectifier with a Mesa Cab
A Bogner Überschall with a Bogner Überkab (Could be really cool!)
A VHT Ultralead with a VHT Fat Bottom Cab

Could be just me, though.

What is your #1 option at the moment?

I'm looking at a new amp now too... We'll see if we both get some nice "new amp" -threads soon!

if i buy those boutique amps.. i´ll get problems to make repair(if any of them giveme problems).. so,now i´m in doubt again in what i should get

i just finish a research RIGHT now here in Brazil with some local shops near where i am ..
one shop has the marshall 1960 4X12 CAB. which speakers are loaded stock in this cab ?
AND seems that there are no dealers for the mesaboogie in brazil.
i´mpretty sure i´ll get a marshall cab 4x12 1960.. unless they don´t have it, or they have the mesa one.
and the head,i´ll think about if i´ll get one from usa or not
still awaiting the emails

i just received an email from the mesa hollywood guitar shop...
and they will not ship mesa amps outside los amngeles area. so, No NEW mesa boogie for me from USA.

JP... have you thought of using ebay maybe? It could solve your problem on trying to find a dealer.

I wish I could help you pick an amp, but I'm no expert on unholy, full distortion amps. I'd say if money is unlimited, dont get a 5150... splurge and get something nice. Check out the Bogner Uberschall, or something by Krank. Dimebag Darrel used solid state until he went to Krank... if crank is metal enough for him, maybe it'll be good for you?

I just thought... what about a Diezel VH4? Check into those, I think those get some high gain stuff.
