they bring up some very good points:
(1) If you've heard a bootleg or the Gene Simmons sessions, Eddie's sound can be really thin and crappy. There is a lot of EQ going on at the mixing console.
(2) The Wurlitzer on "And the cradle will rock" is played through his Marshall and sounds a lot like his guitar. In other words, his amp plays a huge role in shaping his sound.
