here's a pic of my custom maple amp cab

Re: here's a pic of my custom maple amp cab

thanks for the kind comments
Paul Ruby's amp page is here:
Paul Ruby's amp page
Paul is one of the few builders who builds a 'Wreck Rocket based amp, which is what I wanted.
the second amp down on this page is one built for my friend Sam .. there are also some pics he took of my amp's chassis

Paul is an electrical engineer, plays in a band, and is very easy to work with, as well as building a very affordable custom amp.

... i'm so sorry but eventually I will have to copy you and make an amp like this. It's just too beautiful!
do it! that's what my friend Sam did when I ordered mine! :)
Very nice!

..+1 on the need for matching cab!!!

What's up with the tweed sitting right behind it? That looks nice, too!

...soft spot for tweed here....

well, I did get a matching cab, it's just not curly maple, as that would cost WAY too much, and probably sound too bright

the tweed amps behind are my Mission Amps 5E3 up top (made from the kit), and my '56 Deluxe on the floor.
Wow . . . that looks more like a fine piece of furniture than an amp. That would be so cool sitting in a den or a home bar. Or anywhere, for that matter. Very nice, Curly.
thanks, Artie
Glen, who did the finish is an award winning wood turner

Curly,

Looks great! The cab came out real nice!! If it sounds as good as it looks you have a killer am in every way.

thanks Christian ... I need to play it a lot more. However, as soon as my friend Sam played it, he ordered one. :) (and he has a LOT of good amps.)
