HH Strat, 3-way switch, 1 push/pull Vol, 1 push/pull Tone. CAN I EVEN DO THIS?

Hello all,

I've been playing for almost a year and want to learn how to modify my guitars, enter the Squier Contemporary HH Strat, which I bought as a project guitar. I bought these SD pickups: SH-2n Jazz (neck) and SH-4 JB (bridge). My plan is to wire a coil split but I want a certain configuration that I a) don't know how to wire and b) don't know if it can even be done with my pickups.

On the JB (bridge pickup), I want the SLUG (inner) coil on in split mode

On the Jazz (neck pickup), I want the ADJUSTABLE (outer) coil on in split mode

(I couldn't figure out how to upload the images of what I'm describing above, so if you know how to please let me know, thanks)

I saw a video showing all possible pickup combinations on an HH strat (linked below) and decided on this specific configuration as it seemed to have the closest tone to that of an SSS strat, and I think it'd be cool to have variations in tone that would offer the best of both worlds if you will. However, as I mentioned before, I'm not sure this is possible with the pickups I've chosen. The only reason why I think that is because I know nothing about wiring pickups so if I'm wrong, great.

If this configuration is possible to wire, how do I do it? If you know of a wiring diagram showing how to wire what I'm describing please please send a link, thanks in advance.

If it isn't possible to do with my pickups, why not, and are there pickups that will allow me to do it?

Here is the link to the video with the HH strat pickup combinations:

The configurations I'm describing are at 5:39 (bridge) and 6:15 (neck). If you hear a position that sounds more like an SSS strat than what I've described let me know.

I posted this thread on the UG forum and was given this diagram:

I was wondering a) if this is correct and b) if this can be done where both pickups will go to their own push/pull pot since I have two, and it would allow more tonal variations.

If you do any explaining in your response(s) please bear in mind I know very little about electronics and wiring, and you may have to dumb it down for me. Any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated, thank you! :D

Thanks, I saw that earlier but I guess I was too dense to realize what I was looking at lol
