Hello, recently redid my setup and immediately noticed a sound difference. Now I'm a beginner to recording in general so if someone could help me out that would be awesome.
I read online and saw that if you put your monitors against the wall it will create a lot of bass, and since I really like how this setup feels and looks I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of that unwanted bass. I was listening to a few songs and holy crap that's a lot of bass. I couldn't even listen to the whole song it was just too much. It sounded like the song was in slow motion but it was playing regularly. It was horrible. Would acoustic panels put behind the monitors help? If so what size? Also I do have a glass desk and I don't know if that does anything at all. I know it's a little more reflection
Below are some pictures of my setup.
What could I do to help improve the sound quality?
