Homemade SuperStrat For Trade

Heres a Soft Maple bodied neck Thru Superstrat with fat slab rosewood board. Big fat tall frets in excellent conditon. The neck is straight and the triuss rod works as it should. I just had the frets levelled and the guitar set up( cost 85.00) and the action is low...
Guitar has an Liscenced Floyd Rose JT-580 Lo Profile Tremolo in 100% operational condition with the proper studs and bushings for it installed.Tuners and Locking nut are fully operational and have no issues whatsoever. Stays in tune and I have it blocked off for stability & Forward divebombs .

,

Cosmetically, I Tung Oiled the guitar about 6-8 times .
The wood around the trem was partially filled and wood glued/ Clamped after a a small split, but is solid as a rock and will remain so.
Pickups are Dimarzio Super Distortion bridge and Dimarzio Air Classic neck. The guitar sounds very good with these pickups.

The guitar looks pretty nice, but the tung oil wasnt applied professionaly, but its definitly protected and has a nice sheen. Its set up with new 9 gauge strings.
I'm basically wondering if anybody wants to trade something for this, or a partial trae of old effects, an tube amp or another guitar . I'm open to interesting ideas as far as trades or partial trades for other other guitars, acoustics , amps or effects. I also need a Active Subwoofer.
.Ive got too much money into this thing, so I dont want to ask a selling price thats too much.Ive acquired a Jackson Soloist so Im going to be selling this .

the wood looks beautiful man. thats an awesome project strat. unless you already have something with a floyd you should hold onto that.

id totally trade but doubt i have anything you want =(

Re: Homemade SuperStrat For Trade

^ well im not so sure about that, I'd consiier all offers if you really like it.
My Jackson Solist is taking the place of this, so I won't need it any longer.

Re: Homemade SuperStrat For Trade

very nice strat jerryjg. it's very well done, tasteful and has that neckjoint that I dig immensely. Why not have the soloist and that guitar. If you keep it, you can show it to your kids (if you have) and how to make a guitar

I didnt make it, and its entirely possible I have a kid somewhere ( this was back in the day b4 rampant and serious VD) but thanks, I probably will be keeping it unless I trade or sell it.

Re: Homemade SuperStrat For Trade

Curious if the pics are the current pickups you mentioned. You sure the bridge is not a Tone Zone? Super Distortions don't have slugs and screws, only 12 allen hex head pole pieces. Interesting guitar nonetheless. Reminds me of a Fender HM Strat.

If it is a Tone Zone, someone sold it to me as a SuperD. Maybe thats why I thought it didnt sound like the old vintage SuperD i took outta there. It doesnt sound nealy as good as the old Superd(from the 70's I originally had in there, but i thought it was just the way the new SuperD's sounded. I never even noticed the difference in construction.....Im keeping the very old 1st production Superd I have that was in that guitar , and an older DiMarzio PAF , to put into a Les Paul style guitar someday).

is that my old air classic?
Yes Sir. It ceratinly is! Thanks for that!

Super D is way tighter than the TZ, and not as muddy as the TZ. That's the biggest difference I notice between the 2. The again in Maple the Tone Zone probably shines better there than in any other body wood.
