Really? Cause the one I had in my strat got less distorted when you rolled off the volume but any time the amp was breakin up at all it was still way compressed

Ceramic humbuckers just don't have good cleans, it's not what they're for. Maybe with a split or something

Little 59, Vintage Rails, Duckbucker, Cool Rails... all ceramic magnets and all, IMO, clean up just fine... just depends on the definition of "clean" and the application.

I've got an uninstalled cool rails in an S-H guard... if I had the time I'd drop in my Distortion and see how well they match.
