hotel california solo

Re: hotel california solo

Good job man. You got all the playing down.

The only comment i have is that you have to make it more fluid. Put more vibrato and feeling into the notes. The final arpeggio part was sorta stoccato sounding.

Otherwise - you played all the right notes.

The crows liked it too - i can tell :)

Re: hotel california solo

yeah i noticed after lisetning that at some parts it sounded choppy. i missed a couple notes at the end. thanks for the criticism. no we didnt win, our singer wasnt too great lol. were gettin a new one.

Re: hotel california solo

Although it is a crappy recording, I think you played it pretty well. And thru the 'noise' from the recording, I also hear a good tone from your guitar.

I would say good job, and continue practising it, you're near to get it fluid enough and with feeling.

Now I feel like a teacher.

Me going to bed.

Re: hotel california solo

Re: hotel california solo

i just had my 2001 lp classic premium plus plugged into my marshall avt50 combo. i took the back panel out it gives it a more open sound. nothing fancy no effects.

Re: hotel california solo

Great job, man. I've heard a few bands at high school talent shows, but none of them pulled off a solo like that. Keep up the good work.
