VERY VERY powerful bucker. Over powers the cool rails a bit in the neck to my ears. Huge bass, but not muddy. But my axe is maple so YMMV on the muddy issue tho.
Hot, but not as much crunch as my Dime. Doesn't clean up to well, but thats what I have the cool rails for.
I went standard screws/A3 to soften the tone and add some mids, but it sounded really good before I did that, just dont dig A5's too much.
If you want to warm up your axe, but need a high output bucker, can't go wrong with the breed.
I was shootin for a big clean powerful sound. Breed'll get you pretty close to that if your axe is on the bright side.
Radius the poles so the middle strings aren't overpowered by the low E. I'm running it a thru 250k pot.
Just make sure you have another pup for the cleans or split the breed or go parallel.
