How do I make my own Instrument Cables?

Re: How do I make my own Instrument Cables?

You might want to try the Planet Waves Cable Station. This is darn good low-noise, low capacitance cable; with a variety of plugs that can simply be screwed onto the ends of the cable--no solder needed. I do a lot of guitar changing at gigs--so I like to use one of their micro-switch plugs at one end of the cable. Really easy to repair--obviously.

I think you can also buy bulk cable and plugs from Rapco and ProCo.

True, But I consider that MY TIME is worth a lot more than $5.14. Now, if you are doing it because you like to piddle on things, that's one thing. If you are trying to save money, how much is Your Time worth to you?
Ooh! Ooh! I figured this out once...

I think it's:
$12.64 an hour from 10 am to 6 pm
$26.21 an hour from 6 pm to 2 am
and about $2.13 from 2 am to 10 am.

That's just me, though... :-|
