You might want to try the Planet Waves Cable Station. This is darn good low-noise, low capacitance cable; with a variety of plugs that can simply be screwed onto the ends of the cable--no solder needed. I do a lot of guitar changing at gigs--so I like to use one of their micro-switch plugs at one end of the cable. Really easy to repair--obviously.
I think you can also buy bulk cable and plugs from Rapco and ProCo.
