How do you feel about tuning pedals

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

TU-2 user here! No nonsense does what it implies, and it should last.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

I have a TU-2 & A CONN that i've had since 1978 or 79 cant remember back that far........

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

The new korg pedal is very good. Plenty of guys I know swear by the boss pedal.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

Every player who I see when I gig out that's worth listening to uses the Boss TU-2. It almost seems to be an indicator of how serious they really are; if there's a TU-2 you know they know what they're doing up there.

I go through points every few yeras when I think of just selling everything off and starting fresh. But I know that if I did I'd be buying a TU-2 all over again.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

I have a Boss that I love, but I will be selling mine soon to fund a Peterson Strobostomp (to complete my all true bypass setup). You really can't beat the pedal for it's price though :fing2:

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

Yep, another TU-2 user here. Very convenient - normally turn it on between sets etc as a cut-out too.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

Lotsa support for the Boss. The Korg tuners are great, too.

I have a Seika guitar tuner that I bought 17 years ago that is still reliable, but it's not a pedal nor an in-line tuner.

I also have a Sabine STX1100 chromatic tuner.

Then there's the built in tuner in the POD.

(I guess I can't blame my out of tune playing on the guitar, now :smack: )

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

Even though it's hella expensive I'm interested in them there Peterson stomp tuners. Anyone tried those out?

For my own purposes I'd get a TU-2, of course.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

i never go out of tune with schaller locking tuners. My new setup is strat>amp and we always keep everything simple as possible so no wacky tunings are necessary.

Re: How do you feel about tuning pedals

I've used a TU-2 live quite a few times, they are good little units.

- Sensitive
- Mute feature
- Sturdy
- Battery Feature...
- Easy to see and use

All you need.
